We have purchased 4 African Drums from Auburn, the 3 in this picture and a massive HUGE African drum plus a Didgeridoo. The beauty of Auburns instruments is the craftsmanship, care and sound of all that he makes. All our instruments acquired from Auburn are legacy instruments that will be passed down generations. I first learned the flute at age 12 with classical lessons and have played it on and off since then in various bands and duos. I also collected a few and had about a dozen when I came across Auburn's stand, so the last thing I needed was another one. As soon as I played it though I was hooked- warm, pure tones, the sound of forest and wilderness. Bought it on the spot. You can hear it in action on our song 'Wanderer' on Spotify ( see link).
